Legacy Electronics’ warranties covers defects arising under normal use only and do not include malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, problems with electrical power, usage not in accordance with product instructions, acts of nature, or improper installation or repairs.
Modification to or tampering with any Legacy product shall immediately void the applicable warranty.
For any claim made under warranty, Buyer’s exclusive remedy shall be limited, at the Seller’s election, to repair or replacement of the defective Products, or refund of the purchase price thereof, or crediting of the same against future purchases by Buyer at the original purchase price or fair market value, whichever is lower. In addition, for any claim made under the Limited Lifetime Warranty, any credit shall be prorated over the expected life of the product in question at Seller’s sole discretion.
Within 5 working days of receipt, Legacy we will confirm the RMA. This confirmation will include information regarding quantity and acceptance of the RMA. Rejected RMAs shall be returned at Buyer’s expense.
If at all possible, Modules returned under Legacy’s Warranties will be repaired and returned to you. If a repair is not possible, we will send out a new or a functionality compatible module (or a better module if an equivalent module is not available) or issue a credit at Legacy’s sole discretion.
If a Module is outside of warranty, Legacy may offer to repair the Module at an hourly rate plus component cost determined by Legacy on a case by case basis at Legacy’s sole discretion. Legacy shall have no obligation to repair any Module which is outside of its warranty period.
